Who Cares?

According to the WHO's The World Health Report 2000, China ranked a dismal 144th among the 199 membership countries in “overall health performances.” The private sector and volunteer medical care in Taiwan have invested over US$200 million in elevating China’s public health standard, establishing over 20 hospitals throughout the most distant, rural parts of the country. Yet, this is the gratitude Taiwan received, not to mention the 800 plus cruise missiles pointing towards the island, aiming for total annihilation at just one push of a button.

What has Taiwan done to deserve this?
